Towards the end of World War II, many information about advanced aeronautical technology were captured in Germany by the U.S. Forces. One of them was an analysis of the studies carried out by Dr. Alexander Lippisch on deltawinged aircraft. Based upon the information, the Douglas firm developed the F4D Skyray, the only operational interceptor with delta wings in the U.S. Navy.
Starting the design in 1947, Douglas was awarded a contract for the construction and testing of two prototypes in December 1948. The first prototype took off on its maiden flight in January 1951. The second prototype flew shortly thereafter, and the airframe set two new world records, absolute speed record of 1,211km/h and 100km closed course record of 1,171km/h, in October 1953. Having numerous improvements and refinements, the first production F4D-1 made its maiden flight in June 1954 and entered squadron service in April 1956. The distinctive 50 degree sweptback wings with round tips were equipped with leading edge slats and trailing edge elevons. A set of trimmers were installed on the inboard trailing edges of the wings. The outer portions of the wings could be folded upwards by oil pressure for carrier stowage.
Although the Skyray never saw any combat, it proved its high capability as an interceptor with numerous world records and scramble actions in Taiwan in response to crises in late 1950`s.

About the Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-3
Development of the FW190 series began in the Autumn of 1937, under a contract issued by the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (Air Ministry) for a single seat fighter to supplement the Messerschmitt Bf109. Two proposals were submitted by Kurt Tank, the technical director of the Focke-Wulf Flugzeugbau (aircraft factory). The proposal using the then new BMW 801 aircooled radial engine was chosen. This tough and powerful engine was placed in a robust airframe and provided superb handling, well balanced control, and brisk acceleration.
It entered service in 1941, flying alongside the Bf 109 and it soon took control of air superiority over the English Channel. Establishing itself as a mainstay fighter of the Luftwaffe, it outperformed the contemporary Spitfire Mk. V`s in almost every respect and maintained this advantage until the arrival of the Spitfire IX in July 1942. The FW 190 fighter underwent constant improvement throughout its life. The A-3 version used the improved BMW 801Dg engine that produced 1,700hp. Armament was increased from four to six guns, consisting of two rapid firing MG 151`s in the wing roots; two MG FF`s outboard of the landing gear and two fuselage mounted MG 17 machine guns.
Throughout WW2, many Luftwaffe squadrons allowed personal pilot markings and distinctive squadron insignia to be used, plus lower cowl, wing tip and rudder color additions to the original paint schemes.

About the Japanese Air Self Defense Forces F-15J Eagle
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is regarded as one of the most formidable jet fighters in the world today. Ever since its maiden flight in July 1972, this record breaking flying machine has been a yardstick for jet fighter design. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F-100-PW-100 turbofan engines, it is capable of speeds in the Mach 2.5 range. The F-15 Eagle can carry a heavy and devastating complement of weaponry such as internal 20mm M-61A-1 rotary cannon, plus four AIM-9L Sidewinder anti-aircraft missiles.
The early production F-15 was designated the F-15A, while the two-seat version was called the B model. In 1979, an improved and upgraded F-15 was introduced. One notable change was a 15% increase in internal fuel capacity, while even more fuel was made possible by utilizing conformal tanks that snuggle beneath the wing and against the jet inlet ramps. In order to accept this extra fuel weight, the landing gear had to be reinforced. These modified F-15`s are called the C-type for the single-seater and F-15D for the two-seat version.
In 1981 the Japanese Air Self Defense Forces (JASDF) begin to employ these improved F15`s. With the addition of their own designed electronic equipment, they are designated the J (single seat) and DJ (two-seat). The F-15J has been the centerpiece of Japan`s air defense system since its purchase several years ago.

About the Fairchild Republic A-10A "Thunderbolt II"
The need for close air support, on small pin point targets, was recognized early during the Vietnam conflict. Following an experimental development program begun in the early 1970`s, the Fairchild Republic Industries A-10 Thunderbolt II was selected for production. The performance characteristics demanded were for operation on unimproved short fields, both high and low airspeed maneuverability, easy maintenance, long loiter times and range, excellent pilot protection, and a capacity for large mixed weapons loads.
The appearance of the A-10 is remarkable while its performance is amazing. Known affectionately as the "Wart Hog" by its pilots, it`s a large single seat aircraft, identified by a pair of TF-34-100A high bypass fan jet engines mounted high near the rear of the twin tailed fuselage. A few of the specifications are: Length 53` 4"; height 14`8", span 57`6"; maximum gross weight 47,400lbs, including 16,000lbs of external stores. Internal armament is the GAU-8/A 30mm Gatling cannon capable of 2100 or 4200 rounds per minute. It carries 1350 rounds of ammunition, a fire control head-up display, CRT TV monitor, laser spot seeker plus a diversified armament panel that can facilitate any operational need. The A-10 has been around since 1972, and has again proven its worth during the recent Gulf war.

About the Nakajima A6M2 N Type2 Nishikisuisen Fighter Rufe
In 1939, the Naval Aviation Headquarters conceived a plan of trial manufacturing a floatplane fighter, a new type beyond all precedents in the world. On the assumption of landing and invading the Southern regions, the Japanese Navy intended in those days to station float planes in waterways and bays near the landing places until the completion of land air bases for the purpose of defending those under construction and occupied territories. Since the floatplanes might have to fight with enemy fighters in the air, they were required to be pure fighters comparing favourably with enemy fighters in performance. The Navy firmly believed that sufficiently armed floatplanes would be able to fight on equal terms with fighters considering that Type 95 Scout Seaplanes shot down Chinese fighters as successfully as did land based fighters at the early stage of the sino-Japanese incident. In 1940, the Naval Aviation Headquarters decided to trial manufacture floatplane fighters and ordered Kawanishi Aircraft, which was well experienced in manufacturing floatplanes, to trial manufacture them under the name of 15- Shi Floatplane fighter (later called Floatplane Fighter "Kyofu").
In the meantime, relations with the United Sates, Britain, etc. were gradually deteriorated and the possibility of rushing into war with them became larger day by day. Considering that war with the United States and Britain would be inevitable, the Department of Operations of the army mapped out a plan of campaign and requested the Aviation Headquarters to immediately develop and complete floatplane fighters which, in case of incading the Southern regions, were to take charge of air defence for advanced bases under construction and at the same time demanded that temporary floatplane fighters should be made available apart from the 15-Shi Floatplane Fighter which was then under order and was expected to be delivered to fighting units as late as 1943 (three years from then). The Naval Aviation Headquarters proposed remodelling the Type O Ship-Based Fighter Model 11 of Mitsubishi Aircraft, which exercised its power in the Chinese Continent and was recognized as an excellent plane, into floatplane fighter. This proposal was officially accepted at the beginning of 1941. The remodelling was to be conducted by Nakajima Aircraft which was also in charge of the mass production of the Zero Fighter. Like Kawanishi Aircraft, Nakajima was well experienced in the manufacture of floatplanes. Nakajima designers including Shinobu Mitsutake, head of Designing Department, had already designed the Type 90 and 95 scout Seaplanes of single-float type, the superiority of both having been fully recognized. Nakajima engaged in the remodelling work at Koizumi Plant night and day under the leadership of Shinobu Mitsutake, then chief engineer, and young designers including Atsushi Tajima. The remodelled version was tentatively named No.1 Suisen (A6M2-N). The remodelling work had to be made immediately, and three used Zero Fighters Modell 11 were utilized and remodelled into the first experimental planes.
The shape of the main float was accepted after model tests repeated at the Naval Air Technical Institute. Only about one year after the start of the plan, the first flight was successfully made at an aquatic base in Kasumigaura on 8th December 1941, i.e. the very day when the Pacific War began. After utility tests were repeated by seaplane units of Yokosuka and Oppama, the remodelled plane was officially accepted for mass production under the name of Type 2 Floatplane Fighter on 6th July, 1942. It was slightly lowered in performance as compared with the original Zero Fighter Model 11, e.g. the maximum speed was decreased from 534 km/h to 436 km/h and the cruising range from 2,220 km (when carrying no auxiliary fuel tanks) to 1,778 km. This was because the large float increased plane weight and air resistance. They Type 2 Floatplane Fighter still inherited excellent manoeuvrability from the Zero Fighter and had good taking off and landing ability and sea kindliness. The Type 2 Floatplane Fighter was a well-timed superior plane to be used for the purposed of defending isolated islands in the Pacific Ocean and air bases under construction until the completion of the 15-Shi Floatplane Fighter which was then being manufactured by Kawanishi. Powerfully armed with two 20 mm and two 7.7 mm machine guns, the Navy`s hoped for new Type 2 Floatplane Fighter came to be sent to isolated islands in the South Seas and small islands in the north Seas in mid 1942 when the Japanese were still making brilliant drives on the enemy. In spiete of the handicap proper to a floatplane, it fought desperately with large bombers and fighters of the Allied Forces and rendered distinguished service. Even the Americans praised the Floatplane Fighter for its high performance on a level with the Zero Fighter. At the last stage of the war, most of floatplane fighter units on the front lost their planes and pilots, meeting with a glorious end.
Battles over the Solomon Islands
The Allies inititated a counterattack against the Japanese in a battle for Guadalcanal Island located at the southeast end of the Solomon Islands in the South Seas. It was clear that, if the Japanese had occupied Guadalcanal, an important point on the communication line between the United States and Australia, and completed air bases there, the Allies would have lost the command of the air from New Guinea to Australia and been brought into a critical situation. The Japanese Navy was constructing Lunga Field (the Americans called it Henderson Field) in Guadalcanal about 1,000km southeast of Rabaul, the key Japanese base for invading Australia, and Buin Field in Bougainville lying halfway between them. For the air defense of Lunga Field, the Navy constructed an aquatic base at Tulagi of Florida Island near Lunga Field and in mid June of 1942 stationed there a part of the 4th Air Fleet equipped with twelve Type 2 Floatplane Fighters and some Type O Observation Seaplanes and Type O Three Seater Scout Seaplanes. (The 4th Air Fleet was the first unit to use the Type 2 Floatplane Fighter). On the 7th August when the airfields were nearly completed, the Americans attacked Guadalcanal and Tulagi of Florida and occupied them in two days. The twelve Type 2 Floatplane Fighters of the 4th Air Fleet which fought to repulse the enemy attack carried a No.3 bomb under each main wing. (The No.3 bomb is a time bomb containing small balls of yellow phosphor. If dropped from above an enemy plane formation, it will explode in the air and scatter the balls to shoot down a number of planes at a time. The weight is 30 kg). They type 2 Floatplane Fighters dropped No.3 bombs against enemy planes flying in formation and used 20 mm and 7.7 mm machine guns against those flying separetely or scatteringly, inflicting great losses on the Allies. The detachment of the 4th Air Fleet, however, lost all it men and was annihilated at the fighting of 7th August. The Japanese immediately sent army troops from Rabaul to Guadalcanal with a view to recapturing Guadalcanal. Navy planes escorted them and bombed airfields under enemy occupation. Because the distance from Rabaul to Guadalcanal was the very limit of the Zero Fighter`s cruising range, however, the Zero Fighter could not make sufficient attack or escort. Thus the Navy constructed an aquatic base in shortland Island lying 470 km southeast of Rabaul and organized the 11th Air Flotilla comprising planes of seven seaplane tenders including the Kamikawa Maru (19 Type 2 Floatplane Fighters, 54 Type O Observation Seaplanes and 13 type O Scout seaplanes). Using the beautiful shoal of Shortland as a runway, these planes took off to attack Allied planes from airfields which were completed after being captured by the Americans and also to escort the army reinforcements moving to Guadalcanal in place of land based planes of Rabaul. From 4th september to 9th November of 1942, they repeated fierce air battles day after day with bombers and fighters including the Grumman F4F over Kolombangara and Shortland Islands. By 7th November, they encountered more than 150 enemy planes and confirmed 17 shot down. On 10th October, Master Sergeants Kawai and Maruyama, each piloting a Type 2 Floatplane Fighter, engaged with 20 Grumman F4F`s and were killed, but they fought desperately and shot down four, one of which by body cras. This fact eloquently speaks the skill and morale of Floatplane Fighter pilots. The Type 2 Floatplane Fighter was also widely used in bombing of Guadalcanal, reconnaissance, etc. through the use of Lekata, Santa Isabel Island as an intermediate base.

Despite increasing shortages of materials near the end of the war, the Luftwaffe still fielded excellent aircraft such as the Me262 jet fighter. However, the Me262 was vulnerable to attack during take-offs and landings, so special defense units of regular fighters were formed to provide protection for them. These units were manned by some of the Luftwaffe`s surviving elite pilots and were equipped with the Fw190 D-9. This variant featured a new liquid-cooled engine that made it a match for the latest Allied fighters. One of the most well-known units flying the D-9 was JV44, which used aircraft with a distinctive red and white striped undersurface for identification purposes.

The Ju-88 was originally designed in 1936 as a fast medium bomber capable of outrunning enemy fighters, but proved so capable that it was also adapted for torpedo bomber, tankdestroyer, reconnaissance, heavy fighter, and nightfighter roles, making it one of the most versatile aircraft of WWII. It proved to be a very capable aircraft in all of the roles it was assigned to, and was an exceptionally good nightfighter with its good balance of speed and armament, and its size was also sufficient to carry the latest radar equipment. The first Ju-88C nightfighters were based on the normal bomber versions, with the only difference being a new streamlined solid nose for its machines guns and cannon. Later variants featured radar and upward-firing Schrage Musik cannons that made it an even more effective nightfighter.

About the Douglas A-1J Skyraider U.S. Air Force - Metallic Version
Also going by the names Dauntless II, AD, A-1 Able Dog, and Spad, the Douglas Skyraider saw almost 30 years of service. The Skyraider`s development started in June 1944. Not completed in time for WWII, its first combat came with the outbreak of the Korean War in June 1950. The first production version to roll out of the Douglas factory was designated the AD-1. Twelve years and seven versions later, over 3200 Skyraiders had been produced.
Among those, the AD-6 version, also known as "Able Dog Six", was produced in the greatest numbers. The next and final version of the Skyraider, the AD-7, was extremely identical to the AD-6, but it had reinforced wing spars and wing fittings, as well as the strongest landing gear of all the variants. The AD-7 housed the new wright R-3350-26WB engine, which enabled a top speed of 285 knots. Due to a directive to standardize the designation of Navy and Air Force aircraft, AD-6 and AD-7 became known as A-1H and A-1J respectively.
In 1965, when U.S. air operations in Vietnam became more aggressive, literally hundreds of Skyraiders, including the A-1J, were deployed to the 14th and 56th Special Operations Wings (SOW). Armed with Mk.82 and Mk.117 bombs, 20mm wing-mounted cannons, and rocket launchers, the Skyraiders were used in a wide variety of combat missions.

About the Focke-Wulf Fw190D-9 JV44
At the final stages of World War II, the Messerschmitt Me262 jet fighter became the main fighter of the German Luftwaffe. Since the Me262 lacked acceleration at low speeds, it was particularly vulnerable at take off. Hence the formation of the Jagdverband 44 special operations air unit, consisting of Focke-Wulf 190 D-9`s that flew cover for Me262`s. The D-9`s, with their incredible acceleration and climbing ability, proved to be more than a match for the powerful P-51`s they opposed. Due to the devoted pilots who tenaciously protected the Me262, the JV44, though formed during the final stages of the war, managed to amass an uncanny flight record in just a short period of time.

About the Messerschmitt Me262 A-1a
The revolutionary Messerschmitt Me262 was the first jet powered plane to see service. The construction of pre-production aircraft designated Me262 A-0 started in April 1944 but the fighter production version that should have been the first version to be mass-produced was delayed because of Hitler`s strict contrary orders prioritizing the deployment of fighter/bomber A-2a version. Then, in November 1944, the Me262 A-1a fighter version was finally put into production. It was equipped with four 30mm cannons in the nose to counter Allied bombers and escorting fighters. Late production planes were equipped with hooks under the nose to mount rocket launchers and with 24 R4M air-to-air rocket under the wings making the Me262 the most feared German fighter by Allied pilots.
Including the aircraft shown in the pictures, decals for 4 different markings are included in the kit. This will give you the option to represent the camouflage variations applied by the Luftwaffe on its planes during the closing days of WWII.

Featuringa high-set exhaust pipe and a rear mounted 25hp air-cooled 4-cylinder 1,130cc engine, the Schwimmwagen could reach top speeds of up to 80km/h on land and 10km/h in water. Propelled in the water by a screw propeller, which was easily raised above the rear engine deck when driven on dry land, steering whilst in the water was done just like on land, using the front wheels as rudders. Mass-produced from 1942, 14,276 type 166 Schwimmwagen were produced by the end of 1944.

About the Fiat CR42 (Luftwaffe)
The Fiat CR42 Falco was Italy`s main fighter at the start of WWII and was based on earlier successful biplane designs. It was essentially a modernized biplane, with a metal fuselage frame, aluminum wing frames, and smooth fairings for its fixed landing gear. Like other contemporary biplane fighters, it had excellent maneuverability, but was outdated when WWII began. Nonetheless, it proved useful in the Mediterranean theater and was used extensively in the ground attack role. When Italy surrendered in 1943, German forces took over existing Italian hardware for their own use, and they employed the CR42 in night harassment, anti-partisan, and trainer roles in both Italy and the Balkans.
Features
Re-packaged version of a plastic model kit originally manufactured by Italeri.
High-quality 1/48 scale assembly kit model of the Fiat CR42.

About the Republic P-47M Thunderbolt
Following the release of 1/48 Republic P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" and "Bubbletop" versions, Tamiya further increases the range of choices available to modelers with the development of the P-47M. New parts include vertical dorsal fin, air brakes, cockpit parts and new markings.
Introduced as a fighter escorts for bombers attacking the German homeland, the Republic Thunderbolt went through the Razorback and Bubbletop variations as it fulfilled its duty. The P-47M was a special high-speed fighter that was specially designed to counter German threats like the V-1 buzz bomb and new jet-powered fighters evolved by the Luftwaffe. The P- 47M featured a P-47D-28-RE airframe fitted with a high-powered R-2800-57 engine capable of top speed of 761km/h, while air brakes were installed underneath the wings to aid in deceleration. Rushed to service with the 56th Fighter Group in Europe, the P-47M only saw combat in the last few weeks of the war, yet achieved the distinction of downing a German Me262 jet fighter.
Features
1/48 scale model of the Republic P-47M Thunderbolt.
New parts for depicting late-war P-47M include 1: Choice of 3 types of vertical dorsal tail fin. 2: Air bakes fitted under wings, behind landing gear, with landing lights relocated to wing tips. 3: Flat type cockpit floor, instrument panel, rudder pedal and side walls made from new parts. 4: Decelerator located on engine front.
2 all-new sets of markings based on dark-blue/blue patterned camouflage used by the 56th Fighter Group of the 8th Air Force.
Kit also includes all parts necessary to build P-47M or P-47D Bubbletop versions with or without dorsal tail fins, vastly increasing modeling options.

About the Nakajima J1N1 Night Fighter - Gekko Type 11 Kou "Irving"
Originally designed as a long-range fighter, the three-seat twin-engine Nakajima J1N1 was designated as a reconnaissance aircraft after failing testing. Following being successfully used as a night fighter against US bombers, official production began in 1943 on a night fighter version, the J1N1-S Gekko (moonlight). Modifications included removing third seat, adding twin-mounted 20mm guns behind cockpit canopy angled up at 30 degrees and underneath fuselage angled down at 30 degrees. The Gekko proved successful against B-17 and B-24 bombers, and continued to fight until the end of WWII. The later version, the J1N1-Sa, featured singular exhaust stacks and three 20mm canons mounted in upper fuselage with lower guns removed. Some later Gekko models also featured an antenna and radar system mounted on the nose.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32), released in 1989, was developed as a base machine for Group-A races. Taking full advantage of its powerful 2.6l, 6-cylinder, twin turbo engine, it was equipped with a 4WD system. Originally designated as R32, the car was termed R33 in 1995 and R34 in 1999. In October 2000, the Skyline underwent minor changes such as the addition of large rear brakes to upgrade performance further. This new evolution was called the V-spec II. The most drastic alteration was the replacement of the aluminum hood with a new carbon hood featuring a NACA duct. The carbon pattern of the hood would stand out even when painted the same color as the car body. Both inside and outside surfaces of the hood were designed using RTM, a new construction method yeilding smooth surfaces. The V-spec II also features the previous improvements of the V-spec: front/rear diffusers and 18-inch tires, brake discs with Brembo calipers, and a 6-speed transmission. In February 2002, Nissan released a limited edition car called "Nur", named after the Nurburgring circuit, and equipped with an N1 racing specification engine. Combining the impressive specifications of both the V-spec II and the M-spec, 1000 units of the "Nur" were produced in all. Marketed as the last GT-R to equip a straight 6 engine, all 1000 were sold-out in one day, attesting to its incredible popularity. The new 2000 gas regulation forced Nissan to end production of the GT-r in August 2002, however the glory of this ultimate sports car lives on.

About the Porsche Boxster Special Edition
The Porsche Boxter, with its horizontally placed 6-cylinder engine and rear wheel drive attracted fans around the globe with its unique style. Owners were always tempted to build upon this uniqueness by adding option parts not only for performance enhancement, but also for style. Customization known as "Porsche Tequipment" became popular for provinding option parts for Porsches and other cars to dealers. Eventually, Porsche produced a splendid array of its own option parts and ventured into a program known as "Porsche Exclusive" that enabled Porsche owners to receive close support on customizing their cars. In addition to body material and color selection some of the options included lowering clearance for better handling, adding a larger stabilizer, and attaching reinforced shock absorbers. Option packages such as a sports chassis package and automated control system (PSM) for increased stability were also available for owners to create their very own one-of-a-kind Porsche. When the Porsche Boxster made its debut in 1996, it too became a popular model to customize. The Boxster`s affinity for customization became particularly apparent during the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show, when crowds gathered around a yellow, customized Boxster that featured two bumps on the rear section and was specially designed under the "Porsche Exclusive" program. With its body, as well mesh wheels and roll bars all painted bright "speed yellow", the car displayed as "Porshce Boxster special edition" drew considerable attention with it speedy and original style.

Although the All Japan GT Championships mainly features cars advantaged by powerful turbo engines, the NSX, as the flagship for Honda, uses a naturally aspirated engine mounted on the widely marketed NSX base chassis. Furthermore, the NSX, with high traction at the midship as well as a centrally located fuel tank, guarantees continuous, stable control despite changing fuel levels. Taking advantage of these factors, the chassis was developed with high cornering speed as the major theme. Equipped with a roll cage, and a carbon-fiber covered floor, the Raybrig NSX, when compared to the widely marketed Honda NSX, has 6 - 7 times the structural reinforcement. The Raybrig NSX is equipped with double wishbone suspension and an inboard type damper unit. Of course, through wind-tunnel test, the body has been given a winning, aerodynamic form.
With a 3.5L-V6 engine tuned by MUGEN, the Raybrig NSX pumps out 459hp. In addition to achieving a pole-position in both the 4th round of the Fuji Circuit and the opening race of the Suzuka circuit, the Raybrig NSX got the checkered flag in the 6th round of the Mine circuit.

About the Tyrrell P34 Six Wheeler
The Tyrrell P34 caused a sensation within the F1 world when it was unveiled in 1975. It sought to enhance braking and cornering performance by reducing the size of the drag-inducing front tires while preserving contact patch area through the use of 4 tires, thereby creating the only 6-wheeled machine in F1 history. The Tyrrell P34 appeared at the 1976 Japanese GP in an overall blue livery, with the car numbers and body side stripes in yellow and sponsor markings written in white. Team and driver names were also written in Japanese specifically for this race.

Introductions
Traditionally, motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>Kawasaki bikes have had a large body styling ever since the release of the Z400FX, and this new bike also has a rather large profile when compared to other 400cc motorcycle-1-12-motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>motorcycles. The square pipe aluminum frame is a must for super sport bikes and the GPZ400R is no exception. Their frame is different though in that it has no backbone, but uses large sectioned tubing that bows around the engine, which motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>Kawasaki calls an aluminum cross frame. This type of frame prevents distortion during high speed cornering and also gives it the distinct profile. The much advanced liquid-cooled DOHC 16 valve inline 4 cylinder engine stems from motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>Kawasaki`s knowledge derived since their Z-1, and it is light, compact and powerful. The high performance carburation using a flat valve metering system, lets this bike accelerate from 0-400 meters in 12.8 seconds, and provides a top speed in excess of 205km/h. The front fork uses an automatically variable anti-dive system, while the rear suspension uses the motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>Kawasaki original Uni-Trak tested on the Grand Prix circuits world-wide. The use of 16 inch wheels both front and rear allows quick handling yet excellent straight running ability. While the 400cc class is crowded with many replica type racers, the GPZ400R has succeeded in blending aerodynamics and high tech engineering to produce an easy riding, powerful and comfortable Super Sport machine.
In 1972 they produced the first ever DOHC in-line four motorcycle-1-12-motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>motorcycle engine and the Z900 debuted while sweeping every "BIKE OF THE YEAR" award around the world. From that point on, motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>Kawasaki has been looked upon as a high performance motorcycle-1-12-motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>motorcycle manufacturer. Every maker has its own high performance bike on the market, and especially the 400cc size in Japan. motorcycle-1-12-kawasaki-gpz400r-model-z-14045.html>Kawasaki`s is their new GPZ400R which appeared in February 1985. The GPZ400R was built under a different concept as compared with other manufacturers replica type bikes. Their`s is not just another copy of a GP type racer, but a totally new styling, resulting from sophisticated aerodynamic wind testing. The scoop laden full fairing helps the GPZ400R achieve a fantastic 0.29 drag coefficient.
